Why We're Looking For Funding
As film students creating our senior thesis project, we are seeking funding to bring a story set during the time of Alexander the Great fully to life. Recreating this historical world with care requires resources—for costumes, locations, design, and visual detail that honor the period and serve the story well. Financial support gives us the freedom to focus on the creative work itself, allowing us to craft a film that is visually compelling, historically thoughtful, and emotionally grounded. Filmmaking is inherently collaborative, and as emerging artists we depend on the generosity and partnership of others to transform an idea into a finished film. By supporting this project—through financial giving or shared resources—you help make this story possible while investing in students learning to create meaningful, well-crafted work.

Where Does The Money Go?
The majority of the funding will go directly toward production needs that allow us to create a believable and thoughtful historical world. This includes securing locations, fabricating period-accurate costumes, and supporting production design. Additional funds will help cover essential logistics such as transportation, feeding our cast and crew, and other on-set necessities. Every contribution goes toward making the film possible and ensuring the people involved are supported as we bring this story to life.
Is there a way I can support the film without donating?
Filmmaking is a deeply collaborative process, and there are many ways to support this project beyond financial giving. We are always looking for additional crew help, as well as volunteers who can assist by bringing snacks or cooking meals for the cast and crew, donating supplies, costumes, or production design materials, or sharing resources we may need. If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out—we’d love to connect, share our current needs, and find a way for you to be part of bringing this film to life.
